1. What can show as proof of property ownership? 什么可以作为房产所有权的证明?
Individuals aged 25 and above can apply.
25 岁及以上的个人可以申请。
Family applications can include a spouse, parents, parents-in-law, and children (including adopted and stepchildren) under 21 who are unemployed.
家庭申请可以包括配偶、父母、岳父母以及 21 岁以下未就业的子女(包括领养和继子女)。
2. What can show as proof of property ownership? 什么可以作为房产所有权的证明?
S&P agreement (Signed Sale and Purchase Agreement)
S&P 合约(签署的买卖协议)。
3. Can my children study anywhere in Malaysia? 我的孩子可以在马来西亚任何地方学习吗?
If the applicants apply under the condition of having children study in Sabah, the children must study in Sabah to be eligible for this program.
如果申请人是以孩子在沙巴学习为条件申请,该孩子必须在沙巴学习才能符合该计划的资格。
4. Letter of Good Conduct (LoGC) 良好行为信
LoGC is only required for the principal applicant and must be from his/her origin country. Non-English LoGC must be translated and notarized, authenticated by the Applicant’s country embassy and certified by the Malaysian Foreign Ministry.
良好行为信仅主申请人需要,且必须来自其原籍国。非英文LoGC必须经过翻译和公证,由申请人所在国大使馆认证,并由马来西亚外交部认证.
5. Can an applicant apply under the condition of long-term medical treatment? 申请人可以以长期医疗为条件申请吗?
The main applicant and dependents must be of good health, and a health report will have to be produced in Sabah.
主申请人及其附属人必须健康,并且需要在沙巴提供健康报告。
B. Application process 申请过程
6. Who can submit the application? 谁可以提交申请?
Applicants must submit only through Sabah MM2H licensed agents.
申请人必须通过沙巴 MM2H 许可代理提交申请。
7. Will the government accept online submissions or submissions through mail? KEPKAS 是否接受在线提交或邮件提交?
No. All applications must be submitted physically with original documents.
不接受。所有申请必须提交纸质原件。
8. How long is the application process? 申请过程需要多久?
Processing may take 90 working days from complete document submission.
处理时间为 90 个工作日,从提交所有必要文件日期计算。
9. What is the duration of the ordinary Sabah-MM2H Visa? 沙巴-MM2H 签证的有效期是多久?
The visa is issued for an initial 5-year period, with renewal for another 5 years, totaling 10 years.
该签证首次给予 5 年,可再续给 5 年,总计 10 年。
10. Agency Service Fees 代理服务费
Agency service fees are RM15,000.00 for main applicant and RM3,000.00 per dependent (excluding disbursements), which includes:
• KEPKAS Application Processing Fee (RM3,000)
• Sabah MM2H Visa Fees (RM500/pax/year)
• Journey Perform Visa when in Sabah (approx. RM500 + MEV RM30) or Visa Dengan Reference (VDR)
• Medical check-up and medical insurance, Deposit: 20% (Non-refundable) upon signing service agreement. Upon issuance of Visa Sticker: 80%.
11. Documents to be submitted by applicants 申请人需提交的文件
Applicants must submit the following:
1. Passport-sized Photograph of Applicant (coloured) (3.5 x 5.0 cm) 6 pieces per person.
2. Marriage Certificate.
3. Birth Certificate of children.
4. Passports of Applicant and all dependents (including parents/parents-in-law if dependents) all pages – from front to back cover.
5. Copy of previous passport is required if the applicant has renewed his/her passport in less than one year.
6. Certificate of Good Character or No Criminal Record from the home country of the Applicant duly translated and notarized (if not in English), duly authenticated by their country’s embassy and duly certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
7. Home country addresses.
8. Mailing address.
9. Address in Malaysia (if applicable).
10. Email address of Applicant (mandatory).
11. Telephone numbers.
12. Current employment payslip and appointment letter for the job position (only if still employed).
13. Income per annum RM – Tax return or bank statements.
14. Current Employer/Organisation and address (only if still employed).
15. If Retired: Last employment details, pension received per annum (if any).
16. Work Experience history for the last 10 years.
12. Other Important Conditions 其他重要条件
1. Fixed deposit withdrawal allowed up to 50% after one (1) year in the program for purchasing of residence, education expenses for children, medical expenses and so on.
2. Property purchase must abide by conditions stipulated in the Sabah State Government Circular (April 2022): Guideline for Purchase of Property by Foreigners in Sabah.
3. Property must be high-rise and must be purchased solely by the main Applicant directly from the developer.
4. Disposal of property:
4.1. Can only be sold after five (5) years from the date of purchase if a new property of at least RM600,000 is purchased.
4.2. Otherwise, the property can only be sold after 10 years.
5. Visa fee is RM500 per year for each applicant and each dependent(s).
6. In the event of the principal applicant’s death, the Sabah MM2H Pass is transferable to the spouse until the end of the 10-year term.
7. Business investors are allowed to create job opportunities for local Sabahans.
