    Once your application is successful, there are various benefits & incentives provided as below:

    • 5, 10, 15 & 20 year Social Visit Pass with Multiple Entry as per the category
    • Compulsory 90 days stay per year between you and your dependents if aged below 50
    • No stay condition for aged above 50
    • Renewable after 5 years
    • Main applicant Age 21+ only

    House Purchase

    Each participant is allowed to purchase residential houses valued above RM500,000 – RM2,000,000 depending on the state. There may be changes with individual states. NOTE: Property purchase is compulsory for the MM2H visa.

    Domestic Helper

    The main applicant for may apply for one maid subject to the prevailing guidelines of the Immigration Department.

    Children

    MM2H participants are allowed to bring their children who are below 21 years old and not married as their dependants.

    Tax

    Tax Exemption may be given to remittance of offshore income and pension funds into Malaysia & any other foreign funds transferred into Malaysia depending on terms.

    Business & Investment

    You can own your own business, terms apply. Generally any West Malaysia MM2H visa holders can own their own business as Directors without the requirement of having any Local Malaysians, terms may apply.

    Working

    Working as an employee in Malaysia is usually not allowed unless you apply for the Platinum package, terms apply. However working abroad or working remotely is fine.

    Others

    • Import personal / household items, tax exempted, terms apply.
    • Invest in local companies, share market & unit trusts.
    • Interest gained from bank fixed deposits is tax exempted for the first RM100,000.00.
    • Your parents and parents in laws can join you as dependents under a renewable long-term visa.
    • No restriction of funds in and out of Malaysia.
    • Immediate local tax resident status based on MM2H visa.
